The biggest news story that is in the media at the moment is the earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday the 12th of January 2010. AS Haiti is a poor Country trying too get everything back in order is proving quiet difficult. As there is a serious need for the country to recover the rest of the world are doing everything they can to try and help Haiti on there journey to recovery, relasing charity songs and holding events to try and raise money.
There have been a number of charity events to raise money for haiti including a charity gala hosted by Naomi Campbell and a charity Tennis even held by Roger Federer but by far the biggest campaine yet is charity singles that artists are bringing out in order to raise money.
In efforts to try and help raise money for Haiti a number of artsits including Jamie Foxx, Linel Richie, Barbra Streisand and Pink have all come together and covered Michael Jacksons, We Are The World raising millions for the sufforing underprivileged country.
