After hours of filming, we finally created our rough cut. Which was shown to our teachers. The feedback that we received from our teachers was very helpful as we now know what we need to do to improve our thriller sequence.
Firstly, we were told to re film this clip. The reason why, was because it seemed like the man was waiting for her to knock. So we improved this by telling the man to walk to the door while filming, to show that he was waiting for her arrival, but not in the sense of a stalker by standing by the door until see came.
Secondly, we needed to re film this clip.
As the door dosen't slam in this clip, it made the clips look uneven as they didn't slot nicely together. Therefore we simply just filmed the door slamming and a panning shot to accompany it afterwards.
Finally we had to re shoot the shot of the girl walking away from the house. As there was too much space above her head, which meant the filming looked quite amatuer and wasn't filmed at a high quality angle.
